    The 20inch is connected.

Done power to the HHD and power to CD/DVD.
    Sata cables are done.

    Case wires-nope.

I have a fair bit of left over stuff and wires not in use-is this right?

You don't need additional cables to plug in the case wires.

Read the case manual about which wire is which or it may say on the wires. And read the mobo manual to see where it should go.

Well it's not entirely necessary... if you look at the ends of the wires, you might see something like 'Pwr LED', connect that to where the mobo manual says

You'll need your mobo manual. I/We can't tell you where it goes, you just need to look at the mobo diagram. Every mobo is different.

PG 59, says that either HD audio or AC'97 can be plugged in, look at diagram to know where to plug it in.

PG 61, it says speaker should be plugged it the top row on the right (look at diagram)

The speaker wire has 4 holes, point 20 on the diagram has five accross and 2 down.

AC'97 and HD Audio are five accross and 2 down.
