Anon for obv. reasons.

I posted a thread on here a lil while back, but I can't find it anymore

All in the title, essentially, my dad and mum were screaming at me just a minute ago and over the past few weeks, but its now come to the point where if I don't accept my medical offer right NOW, I'll be thrown out onto the streets right NOW :woo:

Help me please. What do I take with me? Where can I go?
Accept the offer. You can always reject it later or change course if necessary

This is such a stupid thread. I rather would accept the offer than to be out on the streets.

I wouldn't, you have to consider the principle of the matter at hand.

Am I the only person in TSR who agrees with the OPs parents. I think you should do medicine, the world needs doctors not journalist.

If you don't do a science or medicine then you failed your parents.

DO YOU WANT TO DO THIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

IF NOT, GET OUT. NOW.

If you do - then grab it with both hands!

op i highley doubt you will cope in any degree if you cant sort yourself somewhere to live..

its not difficult.

regardless of how much your parents suck, its your responsibility to take hold of your own life.

your not 11 years old anymore.

This is a joke right? How does the fact that the OP is homeless mean they wouldn't be able t cope in any degree?

The problem with "accepting the offer for now" - is that I bet they'd get forced to do it. It's what happened to my friend too.

It was a joke yes, perhaps a crap one.

although you have missed the point ... the point is if you are not able sort yourself out when your mum throws you out then i doubt you have the ability to do anything like a medical degree!! obviously being homeless is not synonymous with degree potential...the point is the op could sort themselves out very easily had they sence... lol

Really? If you aren't wanting to do medicine then it's a ******* horrendous thing to do. Try talking to someone who's been pushed into it, they're almost always unbelievably miserable.
