    How do you go about doing that? It makes sense to me that change in x/change in y=1
    find the difference between the two points. the sum of the magnitude of the i components will have the same sum as the magnitude of the j components

    northwest: (-i + j)
    northeast (i+j)
    southwest (-i - j)
    south east (i -j)

    Find the final velocity of B as it reaches the ground. (this will then be your initial velocity)

    Work out the new acceleration of A after B reaches the ground using F=MA (there will be no tension as string will be slack.

    You know the displacement will be h/3

    And you are working out V.

    Use suvat to solve V
