    Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about school experience/observation. Especially for those who have already had interviews.

What do we need to take to prove we had them where we said we did? Is there a form or something that needs to be completed?
    They contact the schools

Maths was hard (GCSE level), I tutor up to yr 8 maths so not really confident beyond that!! The group task was just a discussion and I couldn't really tell if that was fine or not... but my individual I didn't say anything I should have and just feel like I answered all the questions really poorly...

They said we should know the outcome within 48 hours though, so at least I'll be put out of my misery soon enough haha

No - completely different!! Lots of probability, algebra, fractions, deduction, 'prove this rule', transformations etc. I answered every question but didn't feel very confident about it.

I didn't realise you have to do a numeracy test in your interview, is that standard procedure, or only for specific universities? and depending on what course you're applying for?

You don't always have to, but I think most unis have a maths and english test at interview.

Eh, mine wasnt anything like that. Mine was just like the mocks, no proof ect.

Edit: Ohh you had an interview not a QTS test.

UEL, and they are notorious for having a hard maths test, so I wouldn't worry too much!
