Wonder how many games Allen and Lovren are likely to get now.
Allen is still a tidy player and the aggressive press isn't that unsuited to his game. You can't ignore how weak our midfield is at the moment so Allen will get game time till next summer imo. No doubt Rodgers will buy him at his next job

Not sure why everyone is so quick to rule out Lovren under Klopp. Lovren was a £20mil player for a reason, what's happened to him now is an extreme lack of confidence. If anything is going to fix that, it's a new manager.
I guess it's because Lovren has been a liability so far. Skrtel has managed to keep his spot under 4 different managers so probably not getting dropped straight away and Sakho looks better than Lovren too imo. Also Lovren seems to want to play LCB but is he going to displace Sakho?

The only reason he was getting a chance before was because he was a Rodgers' buy/had his faith. He won't get that luxury under Klopp.

Quite excited to see Klopp in the PL tbh. He seems like the perfect match for Liverpool.

When Klopp says "it's our job to make the fans forget about their lives for 90 minutes". Nice subtle way of saying Liverpool is a ****hole

Yeah quite worried about that as well. Tbh it only took them finishing second to turn into the most aids fan base around so who knows.

Problem is that Klopp will make them strong top 4 contenders so it puts us and UTD at risk. If this is Mourinho's last season then it'll put Chelsea at risk too. But it does make the PL a hell of a lot more entertaining. Now that Brenda's gone, hopefully Liverpool will do better in Europe too

If that were true Carlo Ancelotti would be sat giving a press conference at Anfield right now.

    And you deny it?

I haven't even said Ancelotti's is worse or better than Klopp!

I've simply said that Klopp is a fantastic manager and that Liverpool's "greatness" attracted him. Basically what he said in his interview.

He'll fit Liverpool like a glove - better than Ancelotti ever could.

You said 'can still attract the best'. Klopp isn't the best, he's not even top 5. I don't count that as the best.

His English is very good even if not 100% fluent.

But it's great that he's already showing his humour.

Tbh on the continent generally they're so much better with languages. Just the English who butcher everything else. The Swiss tend to be ridiculously good.

But it's another level to be humorous in another language imo.
