Really struggling with intrusive thoughts currently.
Had a crap day, thoughts have been turning my brain to mush!
I can't take much more of this.
    It's taken over me again!
I thought I'd got a handle on it but I guess not
I want it to go away :cry2:

Sorry to hear that, buddy. :hugs:

I get intrusive thoughts quite often. My psychologist told me to try and relax and know that they are just thoughts, nothing more. Sometimes I find it helpful to write them down and then they're easier to dismiss because it becomes clear that they are false and nothing bad can come of them. I don't know if that will help you.

I thought I was getting over this but today has just been awful!

Ah I'm sorry to hear that! Hm well that's easier said than done tbh but I can try to relax.
I've not done that before, so I shall give that a go and see how it goes!
    I hope it does!
    Thankyou!

It just shows how much more active our brains are. And how hard it is for us to control it.

I managed out into town with my mum and gran today for a few hours and then walked home alone which is light years away from where I was yesterday. Yesterday my panics were so bad I was panicking a out getting out if bed because I thought I'd pass out if I stood up and had to get Callan to walk behind me in case I fell even though logically I knew I wouldn't.

I'm exhausted now physically but better mentally, thankfully

This clammy heat isn't helping. I'd rather have direct blaring sunlight than clammy heat. Gives me headaches and makes me feel smothered. Think we might have a storm coming here

Got an exam on Monday and can't find the motivation to study for it. My concentration sucks and everytime I sit down to work the voices tease me that there's no point I will fail either way.

I haven't no. What they failed to tell me is that the psychiatrists at this new place don't work on Fridays. I hate living in such a tiny town there's only two places. Probably won't see a psychiatrist until July when I finish my class. :sigh:
