Just searched the first book and from what I can see of the contents page it looks perfect, barakAllahu feek :yy:

Also I can't seem to find the series you mentioned by sh. Ahmad Jibril, are you sure it's on YouTube? I know he has a Legends of Islam series but I can't find anything on Imam Ahmad specifically.
    wa iyyaki.

Actually it doesn't seem to exist. I think i was thinking of Bilal Assads series.

Hmm, there seem to be 3 ways of saying Shahadah (e.g. one way says "I bear witness", another one omits that). Are they all correct?
    What is the third way?

An interesting post that I came across a few days ago:

"We're so emotionally caught up these days. Social media has become our compass navigating our thoughts, opinions, and actions. If we come across a photo of a child killed, we get sentimental, cry for a bit, and maybe even donate. If we don't, we continue watching movies, celebrating football teams & players, enjoying fancy restaurants, and forgetting the plight we were emotionally attached to just days ago. The fact is, we're emotionally caught up. We get caught up simply wit
h what *others* want us to feel - not what lies in our hearts. We have to realize that if we're being manufactured to feel a certain way without it being born from the sincerity in our hearts, we'll eventually end up living a meaningless life. In the entire history of Islam, people did good deeds without looking for an iman boost from Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. It was something that lied inside of them. They performed good deeds because read and believed in the Qur'an. Yes, a verse changed them. A verse catapulted them to go out, help the weak, and be a defender of the greatest cause. It didn't take hundreds of photos, thousands of posts, and plenty of arguements to motivate them. Therefore, make sure that your good deeds won't fade away when your social media presence fades. The question is: it's either you believe or your being navigated to believe? Only one of them Allah will accept."

Third one says "slave and" if I got it right.

    1. "ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH"

    2. "La ilaha illa Allah; Muhammadur-Rasul Allah."

    3. "Ash Hadu Anla Illaha Illa-Allah Wa Ashadu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu wa Rassoolluh"

    Sahih International
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

    ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH

Always remember, people you trust can break your trust. People will keep hurting you. But Allah will always be there. Its never too late to turn to him. Its never to late to realise that He will never break your trust. When someone hurts you, never think its the end of the road because you will always find Allah waiting for you. He loves us more than anyone can ever love us. He is closer to us than anyone can ever be close to you. When we're happy how often do we think of Allah. How often to we thank Him. I'm included in this myself. Today when I've been down all day; I've thought of Allah all day. When I'm happy I think of Him a lot less.
May Allah grant us all the ability to forever keep our trust in Allah and remember Him in good times as well as bad. Ameen. Remember Allah never burdens a soul more than it can bear.
