I think only on your interview, because they know that you're academically capable since you got an interview in the first place. But I may be wrong...

No, everyone has an equal chance after they have an interview. Basically if you have an interview, there is an offer there in your name - you just have to claim it.

Be prepared for anything really, my interview was probs 75% science despite not having a lot about it in my PS. As nightinwind says, it depends so much on who's interviewing you .
