    Hi there,
Has any student currently studying at Harris Westminster done the Chemistry entrance exam? If so, is there any advice or tips you would recommend? I'm going to the entrance examinations for Maths and Chemistry, I'm feeling fairly okay about the Maths exam but kind of unsure about the Chemistry exam.

I'd appreciate any responses, thank you

Well, Maths has always been my strongest point but judging by previous comments on this forum, I guess the exam will be include mainly logical thinking more than just Mathematical knowledge so I would advise maybe practising some thinking based maths questions found online? . Oh and also covering the main GCSE syllabus would be helpful Just thoroughly go through some key sections such as Algebra; simultaneous equations, rearranging etc. These are just things that I've been doing I advise finding past UKMT Maths Challenge papers, as the questions are very much based on logic and thinking
    Hope this helped

I'll be doing the French exam! I'm just glad there's no speaking because that's definitely my worst section. Mostly I'm learning new vocab and nearer to the time, I'll go over harder grammar points so I can use them in the writing part.

What other subjects have you chosen and what's your other exam subject?
