A lovely Hadith about Charity. Narrated by Asma bint Abu Bakr: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Do not shut your money bag; otherwise Allah too will withhold His Blessings from you. Spend (in Allah's Cause) as much as you can afford." [Sahih Al Bukhari - The Book of Zakat]

As a thread maintainer I'm supposed to keep the thread on topic not guide it astray ...so let me steer it back to the topic lol

I love how the idea of the adhan came about. It shows the fact that a person who is rarely mentioned elsewhere contributes to the establishment of the adhan means that leaders/influential people arent the only ones who can influence and contribute to important things. (paraphrasing Sh. ANJ)

    ASalam Alaikum WaRahmatullah.
This was previously posted, but I'm posting it again to emphasize its importance.

Kashf ash shubuhat by Sheikh al Islam Muhammad Ibn Abdul- Wahab.

    Here's the book: http://islamthestudyguides.files.wor...ashf-matn2.pdf

And here is the explanation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5KMa...KDwO2SvqIfBqcZ

This type of knowledge is something we must all possess as Muslims no excuse. This knowledge can save your life and the ummah's. Please dedicate some time to learning.

But with it, we should consider that we should not turn to prayer only in times of need

May Allah ta'ala protect us from that.

    Wa alaikumasalam Wa rahmatullah,

    A must read and watch.

    Kashf refers to uncovering something.

And the shubuhaat are those things that put doubts into your heart. That they look so similar to the truth but are in fact falsehood.

In this case uncovering doubts raised in issues of Tawheed and shirk.

    Assalaamu 'alaykum.

I can't see the images, the link is broken.

This is not a matter for me to say much, as it is something the manner of which cannot be elucidated. Allahu a'lam. However, I will quote from those better able to reply to questions about the deen:

    The context is explained here:

Regarding this, Ibn Majah and Abu Nu’aim have narrated from Aws bin Aws Ath Thaqafi that the Prophet (SAS) said, ‘From among the most virtuous of your days is the day of Juma. So ask Allah to send blessings upon me abundantly on that day. (i.e. send ‘Salaah’ (darood) upon me abundantly on that day). For your ‘Salaah’(darood) is presented to me. (Upon this) the Sahabahs (companions) said ‘O Messenger of Allah, how will our ‘Salaah’(darood) be presented ‘to you when your body would have been decayed?’ He (the Prophet SAS) said, ‘Certainly Allah Has made it haram (unlawful) upon ‘the earth to consume the bodies of the prophets’. (Al Khasa’is Al Kubra by Allama Jalaludeen Suyuti vol.2 pg.489)

    [Source: http://www.darululoomtt.net/i-would-...9-insha-allah/ ]

Anyhow, this is a matter the elucidation of which does not concern the vast majority of Muslims, if not all of us. Whether we study this narration or not, whether we hold one particular interpretation of it or another, it does not affect our understanding of the deen, our practice of the deen, nor is their any practical benefit to us through delving into it.

Some of us don't want to see images of decomposed bodies. Put them in spoiler tag if you must post them. Thanks
