Hundreds tried to escape communist East Germany for Capitalist West Germany by going over or under the Berlin Wall and the communist authorities SHOT THEM ON SIGHT! Socialists (neocommunists) treat people like cattle, the proof is biometric ID cards.

modern socialism isnt as simple as that. There are soo many variations of it. some are more authoratarian some are more liberatarian.

I dont agree with most of their views. However I am all for nationalism and I have always said Britain should come first and we should work to get Britain back to being Great!

So you'd agree with my post earlier, that a different party, with a different leadership, fighting for a nationalist, or patriotic position, would actually do quite well at the polls now?
    What I said before:
This nation, right now, is full of people who do not support the levels of immigration we've seen in recent times, they feel their culture is being eroded, there are millions who would support a "nationalist" or "patriotic" party, that put Britain first.
I'm sure if such a party truely existed it could gain 20+% of the vote.
So why only 0.7% of the vote for the bnp?
It's because of who runs it, and the bad choices made by the leadership, isn't it?
Flip-flopping ex-tin pot nazis, with criminal links, and bad policies.
If it was my party I'd want to sort the crap out, not defend it endlessly, when it's obviously wrong.

Labour voters often paint a picture of the BNP as an unreasonable totalitarian party! New Labour voters say that! :p:

so many of these posts are exactly the same... just another argument over the bluddy BNP! What is this obsession among students!?!
I find it worrying that so many young people can be brainwahed into believing all this BNP tripe!

You can get as technical and complicated as you want, the simple fact remains that the BNP are not cool! they are racist, neo-nazi, and facist!!

Did it ever occur to you that it might be you who have been brainwashed? The reason I ask is because you vomit forth the same "they're racist, neo-nazi, and facist" opinion of the BNP as everybody else and apparently without giving it a second thought.

Believe me, i have read enough BNP litrature to know what they're all about. They try to impose thier morals on everyone, I have had to put up with BNP supporters since a young age and they are mostly very angry, very violent neo-christians.
To say that this is a white, christian country is ridiculous! and to promote hatred towards defenseless ethnic minorities is not acceptable to me.
I could go on about BNP racism, and quote that over-rater middle-class twit Griffin, but IT IS 4.30 AM and i cant be bothered with BNP sympathisers!!!!!!!

Neo-Christians my ass. WTF is a "neo-Christian" anyway? The BNP have historically been a very very secular party; only recently have they sought to present themselves as Christian; much to the outrage of many of their members I might add.

If they did I'd probably just pack up and leave.
Where would you go to. Rightwing parties are in power throughout Europe. Would you go live in Zimbabwee?

Neo-Christian? If anything, I'd take that to mean the C of E. By the same logic, Christianity is neo-Judaism. But facetiousness aside, you are right. The term is meaningless.

As right wing as I am, even I wouldn't say that the right is in power across Europe: the socialists are in in Spain, Chirac is supposed to be from a centre-right party, but he really isn't, although Merkel won in Germany that doesn't mean a great deal.

    Read it and weep

BNP Election 2006 manifesto (in pdf format)

And if anyone has to ask me what is wrong with that then should be stripped of their voting rights.

I assume no one actually thought that document out, or tried to cost it out, before it was published.

Forget the racism, forget the links to criminals and terrorists, even if these guys were squeaky clean they would not be fit for office.
