At the end of the day, no one knows if it's because of your race or not.

Of course people on here will say no, it's nothing to do with your race, it's just safety, and maybe it is. Or maybe it is slight racist. Thing is, enless we ask those women, it's only guessing.

When I am walking alone at night, I always cross the road if a car parks nearby. It is for safety reasons. Just because an area doesn't have any crime or has very little crime, doesn't mean that there never will be crime. It is honestly stupid and ignorant of you to think that because an area is generally safe, that people should no longer be careful.

What kills me is that people are constantly warning women to be safe when walking at night. If there is a case of rape, people often accuse the woman of dressing provocatively or not doing everything she could to protect herself. Excuse me?! Women should not have to protect themselves from someone forcing themselves onto them - they should be able to do as they wish. However, this is not a perfect world and things happen. These women are protecting themselves; they do not know you and do not know what you are capable of. That's great that you're harmless and won't rape women, but they don't know that.

Also, stop playing the ****ing race card. In the dark from 6 car lengths away, nobody can see you. Get over yourself.

I hope the op now sees how ridiculous he is being. It's nothing to do with race, it would be very hard to see inside the car that late at night.
It is very scary being chased by a strange man at night because you refused to get into the car. Or even if they don't chase you after you say no the verbal abuse isn't nice. So to avoid all of that we cross the road
