I want to know because I'm thinking of doing a maths degree but I don't want to be horribly out of my depth. Please tell me what grade you got at A2 and overall UMS (if you can't remember, then just a rough number). Could you also put which university you go to

Could you also put what the degree name is. So if it's straight maths or maths and economics, or financial mathematics etc.

Posting would be a massive, massive help for me, so please do so

Thanks very much to anyone who can help!
I'll list my Maths and FM modules, I don't know how they were cashed in but I got A*A*(555 and 514)

I would but the resit fees are too expensive. It also looks far more impressive to achieve 600 without any resits.

I will have another attempt when doing FM

    A* 593/600

I'll be studying Accounting and Business at Reading in October. I was wondering if any of you Mathematics applicants found the A-level a bit tedious? Learn a formula - apply it; learn a formula - apply it, etc. Did it really test our logic and problem-solving skills? I can't imagine that it adequately prepares students for a degree in the subject. I guess you have F. Maths and Step for that?
Further Maths was pretty similar in blindly applying rules again and again, slightly harder and tougher concepts but not really any different. STEP is a true showing of Mathematical ability imo.
