Someone/a teacher usually posts up a mark scheme on TSR within a few days/week.

Actually... should we be discussing this exam right now? I could've sworn we had a 'not until midnight' rule.

Hi guys,

Yes there is a rule about not discussing examinations until midnight. This is because international students sitting the exam with a time zone difference may otherwise have time to check TSR for answers. Midnight tonight go nuts! :aetsch:

Also for those looking for an unofficial mark scheme, the mathematical God Arsey will, I expect, be posting his tomorrow.

Thanks

Realistically, what do you think the grade I got for missing out the last question of arithmetic progressions, Q11 and the whole of Q9?

How much of Q11 did you miss? And how many marks did Q9 carry?

As previously stated, please don't discuss results or question specifics, exams are still being sat and you shouldn't be discussing results till 12:00AM. This gives students opportunities to cheat and lower the UMS you receive.

Can someone explain question 2b

How I did this was to say 36x=9px and solved for p so p=4
Then qx^2 = 36p^2x^2 subbed in p = 4 and solved for q
But if I have an issue with p being wrong then q would be wrong. Is there anyway I can test my solutions?

9 is the one with the 2 lines and 11 is completing the square.
