I'm in tears. I never took care of mine, now I'm all emotional about it.

Also getting the first computer in your household, or your first personal computer, and similarly, the first internet connection.

What we all remember are some early, obscure sites that each of us found for whatever reasons and shared with friends. Most of those sites were like prototypes of successful sites like youtube, facebook but never made it big. It was like a freeforall before a clear winner emerges.

aww i remember the pick n mix, woolworths was amazing
those scoobies and crazy frog were so annoying tho

even though i hardly count as a 90s kid (1998 here) i really feel sorry for those kids growing up today, ipads and smartphones and things just suck all of the imagination from life, bring back cardboard boxes and bionicles (not the hero factory-esq 2015 ones, the proper ones)

EDIT: just realised it says 'noughties' not 90s
Where as now all kids have is Minecraft where they are making computers within a virtual world.

Ah, the Nokia 3310. When a mobile phone was a mobile phone and not a micro tablet / phablet. I think I had Snake on my ipad (or maybe my S4?) but it's not the same and nowhere near as good as the version on the Nokia.
The battery lasted for ages on them too. I only charged it once a week yet I have to charge my iPhone everyday.

I do think some of these things are a bit off. I'd consider ceefax/teletext and S Club 7 (anyone else remember their TV show?) as 90s things. I used to spend a lot of time on Myspace and MSN as well as Netlog and Faceparty. I had a Bebo account but didn't use it much as it seemed to be more for a slightly younger crowd.

Woolworths pick n mix was so dank, the fizzy cola bottles were the best from there
The strawberry filled chocolates were the best in the mix though......... :moon:
