Leicester have had bad luck with fly halves and broken jaws this season. Burns is only recently back from one himself, isn't he?
Yup, this year we've had a one in one out situation in the fly half position and 2 broken jaws! Fingers crossed Burns stays fit because whilst Tommy Bell is good, I don't think he's experienced enough for the big games!

In total I think we've had 5 broken bones so as Cockers put it "everyone is on an extra pint of milk"

There's no beating Cockers for soundbites.

Thoughts on Wales, France, Scotland squads? The France one seems to have a few rogue choices but I don't know for sure since I don;t follow the French league

I heard Bastareaud had missed out which I was surprised about?

Some of the back choices in the French squad seem a bit odd - I could only see one specialist 10 for example.

Wales and Scotland pretty much as expected.

Thank God he's locked out of Twickenham until at least 2021.

I'd expect the presentation for England-Wales to be Mark Pougatch with Wilko, Sir Clive and Gareth Thomas. That is a definite improvement on the usual BBC people.

I was wondering how long it might take for that photo to appear.

Mourad Boudjellal really has lost his mind now, hasn't he?

You may see it again come March 12th.

Apparently it's in order to get past the salary cap in place in France. Can't see it happening, though.

Champions Cup Quarter-finalists confirmed, brilliant for England, absolutely dreadful for the PRO12, and embarassing from Clermont. This leads to:
    a) How (if possible) can the PRO12 improve? Going from Leinster winning two in a row to not even having a quarter-finalist within five years is embarassing and must be worrying for those in Ireland & Wales especially
    b) Who will win it? I guess almost everyone would expect either Saracens or Toulon, with Racing the other most likely option?

I think the 3, well at least 2 Irish sides have had some coaching issues especially Leinster so I'm sure they'll be back soon after a small blip. Don't forget, Ospreys and Ulster were very close to going though, Ospreys having beaten Clermont a week before.

I'm not sure who can win it, I think, no disrespect to any of the teams in Saracens half of the draw, but I belive they are though to the final with a home quarter and effectively a home semi against either wasps or Exeter as it will be a neutral ground somewhere in England. The other half of the draw however is different, not being to confident but I think Leicester can beat Stade at home but Stade may come as a surprise, who knows! But Leicester, Racing or Toulon (or Stade) is a hard one to call.

What a thumping victory for Wasps - especially after that first few minutes they experienced against Leinster at the Ricoh.

How can the Pro 12 compete? An absolute **** ton of money. They're nowhere near the financial level of Toulon, Clermont, Saracens etc.

My real problem with the appointment is that I'd be starting Jamie George.
