So you're against gender equality because some people's opinions disgust you. Amazing.

Feminism, or the correct medical term ‘Feminazitremens’, is a horrible debilitating disease of the mind that is characterised by making generalisations, false accusations and a tendency to look for any excuse to be offended. Symptoms include chronic nagging and the habit of kicking up a fuss about relatively small things in Western countries when compared to the real gender divisions in third world countries.

Those who suffer from feminism tend to ignore the blatant injustices that affect the male sex, including longer prison sentences, less chance of winning custody battles, a far higher chance of violent assault and a higher mortality rate. These are casually waved off as being a product of male power and thus men are to blame for everything wrong with the world. Feminism is often spread via the mouth, with the very young being most vulnerable. FCKH8 have even capitalised upon this by using 4 year olds to shout swear words in the name of feminism in their adverts.

Feminists often suffer from hallucinations about a mythical entity known as ‘the patriarchy’, which may be understood to mean a small upper-class echelon of rich white males who pull the strings at the top; unfortunately, feminists can’t seem to understand that not every man in the world is in the position to go to Oxbridge and straight into a job that pays £100K a year, thus feminists identify all men as being a problem. Despite shouting ‘privilege’ at every opportunity, sufferers of feminism tend to come from a privileged background of their own and will barely take into account their own privileges. Notable examples include privately educated Jessica Valenti and Laurie Penny, whose hardships at private school seemed to have made life so difficult for them that they decided to write for the Guardian and other champagne socialist outlets.

Feminism is most commonly found in bourgeoisie women who are primarily interested in protecting their own class privilege. This is why they prefer to focus on 'sexism' in the likes of video games, television and movies than on the fact that millions of families don't have enough food because of the likes of Esther McVey and Theresa May. Unless you 100% agree with a feminist then you automatically hate woman and don’t believe in equality.

Many studies have gone into the causes of feminism, with the most conclusive evidence suggesting that jealously between females and poor socialisation skills are the main source. In the rare instance that a man is infected he may have succumbed to the deadly ‘White Knight Syndrome’. There is, as of yet, no known cure to feminism, but trials with the recently developed Humanism vaccine have proven successful in several studies. If you think you may have feminism then please get yourself tested!
    Holy strawman Batman.

Title says it all - I'm bored and would like to see what the general perception of feminism is on here. Ask away! ^^
Do you believe in the more extremist feminism or do you think that the true spirit of equality is lost with them?

Can a woman rape a man? (legally she cannot) what do you think?

Do you think we should all follow intersectional feminism? or do you think feminism alone does what intersectional feminism claims to do?

Do you agree with what FEMEN did at the muslim conference held in Europe a while back?

    Thanks!
    I'd say yes, they can.

In my opinion, yes, we should. It's abundantly clear that people of different demographics experience varying levels of oppression. And no, I don't think normal feminism does that.

I'm not really too knowledgeable on that.

It honestly depends on where you put the line of extremism.

I mean in the whole "let's destroy men" and "all men are rapists" types, not saying all feminists are like this but there are a minority who are

Why do feminists feel that it is there duty to separate themselves from others, almost as if it is some sort of sacred cult. Everybody has their own beliefs, and few - with the exception of the uneducated imbeciles who call themselves feminists - feel that they need to share it with everybody. Feminism was relevant during the 1960's when women noticeably had less rights than men, but the movement has now become severely outdated. We are supposed to support gender equality, yet society still decides to put this social stigma on men telling them that they must treat women difficulty.

What I'm trying to say is that feminism has achieved what it was intended to, and there is now very little purpose of the movement, except to get attention and make out as if you are more significant for being a woman.

    Woeful response.

You simply can't copy/paste an article like that and use it as a response.

Use your own words: why is the Gender Pay Gap not a myth.

Why are employers recruiting men when they could employ women and save money? (for example).

Why do studies suggest that women in their 20s are actually earning more than men? (Source:
    http://www.theguardian.com/money/201...ge-study-finds)

And then you have half-witted Feminist writers saying that it's "fair" (Source:

Feminism evolves. First wave, to second wave, to third wave. Right now it's in the third wave, which means things such as intersectional feminism. You may think that white, middle class cis women are practically equal in society (I don't, however), but you surely can't tell me that, for example, trans women are equal in society.

    Trans women aren't women.

Biological sex determines what you are, not gender.

First and second Feminisms were untarnished. Third wave is a joke.

Third wave feminists are more concerned about the Gender Pay Gap, sexist air-conditionning and man-spreading rather than being stoned to death after alledged adultery.

Third wave feminists are the ones wishing all white men dead!

If you affiliate yourself with them, then I find you repulsive.

But feminism was created to empower women during the 1960's. This was achieved, so why is it still needed today? The majority of the issues which they argue about mean almost nothing; while some things such as the wage gap are clearly present, males also face issues which are never covered.

One example of this is rape, society creates the image that males cannot be raped by a woman, but this is far from the truth. Surely by feminism being as extreme as it is in comparison to men's rights being covered, this completely contradicts the original aim of feminism which is that all genders should be equal.
