Mobbsy, I am a man of limited principles, but there are still some there. One of which is voting aye if I have seconded the item.

Actually, good idea, I didn't think of that.

Mr Speaker, I know you're getting sick of me making these requests, but can you please change my aye to abstain? Thanks

You can't prove that your vote was an Aye, so the Speaker can't change it. Perhaps the Tories have bought you off and you're just trying to decrease the number of Ayes and increase the number of abstentions.

I can do, but this will not happen now (for the simple reason that I have no way of knowing whether your vote was originally an aye or not) but rather when I request a list of voters from the CT to double-check that only people eligible to vote have voted.

A put down that rivals the backbone meme you tagged JD into.

Meh, even when I put myself down it's more brutal

Hey.. the fact that we had Carney give him a tour of the BOE's bullion vaults earlier is completely coincidental. He told us he likes museums and dislikes security checks so we took care of them.

I can neither confirm nor deny any excursions of such nature...

Why have you been tricked by the Tories to vote abstain? As you have pointed out, you are one of the seconders of this motion.

I seconded this because I felt it was a necessary kick up the arse, I think we should give them 2 or 3 weeks to see if the increase in activity continues. If it doesn't continue, I will personally put in another VoNC.

The GD precludes the Government from being MoNCed again in that timescale.

Suggesting Andy has been tricked by the Tories is stupid. Is big enough and smart enough to make a rational decision. If this Vonc was happening in two weeks time and the government was doing the same, it would have been different.
