I really can't accurately answer that. My vision has no doubt been clouded through my love for her (I'm not really in love with her, just to clarify). I do really like their music though.

And yeah, they are pretty good, but for some reason they are really unknown.

Nu rave fashion needs to die. End the plague and buy something stylish, instead.

none of you have really shown any 'proper' indie bands, or what i would call proper indie bands. I too like death cab but class them more as emo.
Here is an example of indie - http://myspace.com/winterkids (tape it) is good
    How bout a compromise - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7gCRSH6sec

And all music requires effort, talent and creativity.

na - I think it was earlier than this... There's a really prophetic review of an early gig of theirs in one of my old copies of VICE... hang on - will find it. Think it was like late '05 maybe?

Dunno if any1 has already mentioned this but there is a shop in camden called cyber dog. Though its not geared to selling "indie dance" clothes it has a lot of luminous clothing, uv and glow in the dark t-shirts etc. Id say it was a shop for industrial/metal/punks to be honest. But go there if ur in London its worth a visit

Finally, some one has spoken some truth in this rediculous thread, i couldnt agree more.

As for Alexjc, indie is not an excuse to make crap music, ive heard my fair share of rubbish dance music and music that just sounds like retarded ringtones! As with indie there is some good and somebad out there. I like indie personally, but i know its not everyones cup of coffee... like dance is not mine. So just give the whole music debate a rest, yeah?

As for the title thread, check out kingsofneon.com for neon foot wear with various slogans...

sugarbullets.co.uk/rave- this site is brilliant, feature lots of indie style clothing as well as the nu rave clothing.

BANK have some fluro tee's in at the moment if ure interested thats where i got mine from. My tee says Club Tropicana in fluro pink- I LOVE IT!

http://omfgzbabycakes.bigcartel.com/- They do some wikiid tee's if your interested not so fluro but equally good.

I am fine with people listening to whatever music (Whether it's cheesy pop or Indie or Dance...) and I am fine with people wearing whatever clothes they like (Whether it's skinny jeans or tracksuit bottoms) but I get really pissed off when people consciously make a massive effort to dress in a certain way to follow the latest teenage trend (Everyone wanted to be an "Emo" last year, remember?) and then complain when people put them in to a category and label them "Indie" or "Emo" or "Nu Rave" etc. Why complain about being labelled when you purposely try to fit in to that particular label? It annoys me so much. It pisses me off even more when these kids who try to fit a certain label but hate being labelled constantly label other people. If one of these trendy kids who is right in with the latest fashion sees anyone who doesn't look like them or listens to the same music as they do then they automatically decide that person is a chav and therefore evil.
