I liked the mention of Deadmau5 earlier... I've been hearing stuff from him in various mixes and it's always top notch. Faxing Berlin is an amazing track. It's a surprising he's from Canada considering his very "German" deephouse sound. He's nothing like Tiga or Plastikman from back in the day.

Just listening to Fred Falke's remix of Eric Prydz's Pjanoo - it's pretty good.

Ooh this thread has died a little. Anyways my fave song at the moment (sounds a little like Bag Raiders and old-school MSTRKRFT).

Yelle - Ce Jeu (Fisk Remix)

Also Soulwax have released their much-hyped MGMT Kids remix. I heard them play it at Creamfields and it was awesome. But listening to it at home its nothing special and sounds a little lazy. The original is far superior even to dance to!

Haven't posted on here for a while!

Saw Digitalism at Leeds from the front row and OMG they were amazing- one of the gigs of my life!
Saw Late Of The Pier AGAIN- (those guys can do no wrong for me)!
Saw Chromeo and Simian Mobile Disco too they were cracking!

Anyone got either Late Of The Pier's Fantasy Black Channel or Metronomy's Nights Out?

Those albums are my faves atm, I'd highly recommend them.

    But wtf IS that film!
It's a weird British film called Octane that was filmed in Luxembourg but supposed to look like the American Midwest. I kind of like it because it just makes it all a bit surreal and Mischa Barton does look FINE in it...

It's not as weird as that scene but still pretty weird indeed: about a girl who gets kidnapped by a cult of vampire-like people.

Apparat is great... Definitely worth buying the album, even if you don't like electronic music.
