Cellulite treatment- Really, with all the lotions and potions in the world, you can only minimise the visual appearance of it, not get rid of it per say.

The Nivea one [this is from the blurb on the packaging] states "The Latest innovation from scientist of Nivea laboratories: With new Nivea My Silhouette!
How does it work?- Nivea research has developed the natural; "Bio-Slim Complex" that combines the high-performance active ingredients white tea and Anis extracts for a dual effect."

Cuticle treatment- You know the base of your nail, where it joins your finger? There's very thin skin that covers the joining part which can become raggedy/rough/sore/generally nasty looking. The cuticle pen moisturises and minimises it...so you can push it back and expose more nail

Some people cut off the cuticles with special scissors but thats not really recommended.

here is a picture of what cuticle remover does; its not the Avon one, just from google.

Do you have a windowsill next to your shower like me?
I do, it's incredibly convenient, everything gets shoved on there.

What shade skin do you have?
I'm actually really really pale, but the product is in stick form, a bit like a cream but solid if that makes sense and it just smooths across your cheekbone. This makes it really easy to blend in with your skin tone and you can apply it really lightly during the day and blend in well and it looks natural and like a bronzer, really.

Does it work?

I think it's mainly a psychological thing - it tingles like crazy, so when you look in the mirror you think your lips are plumper!
It's nice though, it smells of chocolate :-)

Never heard of them. Why are they good?
I have really curly long hair and they're the best brush I've had at getting all the knots out! Also really good at getting rid of static

I've never used lipgloss. I'm scared of it Doesn't it wipe off everywhere?

Also, I tried eyelash curlers once but I couldn't tell any difference

What about shower gel?

That sounds just like my skin! Doesn't moisturising play havoc with your t-zone?

Wow! Lucky you! Do you have a pic of your hair?

Lipgloss does sometimes wipe off, but Benefit lipgloss is nice because it isn't really sticky.

Oh try using eyelash curler before you apply mascara as it really make a difference that way!

Shower gel, I usually just use whatever is in the cupboard at the time.

Moisturising is annoying because it can sometimes make my face more oily which isn't nice, but I need to use it as my cheeks get quite dry.

I'd post a pic of my hair but my sister has my camera at the moment round her house, but my hair colours pretty similar to Bree from Desperate Housewives anyways, so you have an idea

This is such a great thread by the way!

But hey, it feels nice, its gel kind

I don't use it that often, so idk if it actually works- but apparently it does.

Face/Makeup:

  • Eye shadow: I only have one I actually use - Bourjois little round pot eyeshadow in Prune Intense. I hate wearing eyeshadow so it gets used as eyeliner instead.
  • Lip plumper: I have Soap & Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss but it doesn't actually do any plumping as far as I can tell. My lips look better when I have a hangover or eat a big apple.
  • Lip protector: I think it's by neutrogena, can't find it.. white tube anyway. Bought it cos it has spf15.
  • Eye liner: A rimmel one in brown is my most used, but I also use a grey powder one (a free sample from Meow Cosmetics, lasting forever) and my bourjois eyeshadow as above.
  • Mascara: No particular fave.. I usually use something by the natural collection because it's £1.99, does the job and I don't feel like I'm wasting money when I throw them out after the recommended couple of months.
  • Blusher: Benefit Dandelion because it's so subtle (supposed to be used as an all over powder, but I don't want a pinker face. I'm pale so it shows up on my cheeks anyway).
  • Foundation: No.7 Intelligent Mousse. Nice texture, best thing I've found in Boots (I live miles from proper make up counters).
  • Concealer: No real fave.. the one by Barbera Daly at tesco is pretty good for under eye circles with a good brush to apply it.
  • Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte
  • Moisturiser: Simple Light Hydrating moisturiser or the protecting one with SPF 15. Olay's blemish care one is useful too.
  • Acne/spot treatment: Freederm gel ftw.
  • Makeup remover: Johnsons baby lotion + cotton wool.

Hair:
  • Shampoo: One that Tigi don't sell anymore. It makes my hair gleam with a thousand colours. The best available thing I have is Umberto Gianinni's shampoo in the white bottle, nice and gentle.
  • Conditioner: The matching Tigi one, soo good.
  • Heat protection spray: Boots expert heat protection balm.
  • Serum: Something by Umberto Gianinni

Body:

  • Shower Gel: Original source lemon & tea tree/rose & aloe
  • Exfoliator: Those funny shower gloves/scratchy sponge
  • Deodorant: The purple soft & gentle after hours one
