i can imagine.

However no dealer is gonna put crystal in some kids weed.

Not business sense. People do not do it.

"I bought a kilo of skunk, the guy put some ket in it for me"

^^^

happens all the time
I know that dealers don't cut cheap drugs with expensive ones but you said that you couldn't smoke md which isn't the case. K isn't even expensive anyway.

Sounds like it had been laced with PCP. Cocaine doesn't give you effects you mentioned, or maybe it was just extremely strong weed.
A few joints of PCP laced weed would send you bat **** crazy! There's no way it was that lol.

Well, I smoked weed laced with PCP (by mistake.) and it's effects were similar to that.. along with hyperthermia and paralysis.

PCP's effects in low doses are strangely similar to having a whitey:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phencyclidine#Effects
I don't think she would have been over it the next day if it had been pcp, even Hunter S Thompson wouldn't touch that crap again! Given that she had a few joints that would have been a pretty high dose too. I've seen people with the fear that have gotten hyperthermic and paralitic effects from weed alone. Then there's the fact that PCP is reasonably rare in the UK and no dealer in his right mind would waste a dose of it on weed for no apparent reason.

What about the 60s?

All those hippies are at the top of corporations now, I bet all the alcoholics from then are dead.
Yeah, funnily enough dope smoking doesn't really come top of the agenda for their doctors when they're 90 though. Anyway, 90 and 80 year olds would have been 32-50 in the 60s, not really the heavy drugs users.

Tbf, theres always the risk of coke being in the spliff. Some dealers (a lot round my area) put it in with the weed to make you more addicted etc etc etc.

So really, theres always a chance.

Most hippies were in their 20s in the 60s, it's a good 40 years on so it's reasonable to expect that the majority of them will be pensioners now.

I didn't say it wasn't, just that my dad's patients are generally 80 and over, so not so much affected by the 60s. They would have been starting families by then. And despite what you say, honestly, "weed psychosis" doesn't generally appear in any of the medical journals for geriatric medicine.

no they dont, its not good business sense.

If you dont know whats in it, how do you know what you are addicted to.

If you ahve a reaction like the OP, are you likely to come back?

No, which is why dealers dont do it, its a myth to make weed smokers sound 'cooler' and more 'dangerous'.

I'd probably say it's a myth started by the anti-drugs brigade so they can say 'OMGGZZ you don't know what you're taking?!?!'. It's the same with pills, although of course the occasional one is bad.

Like I said, I know people round here that do do it. Perhaps its different where you live, but they deffo put different substances in here.

I understand what youre saying, and you're right, but all im saying is that its different here.

no its not, i grew up in stafford and went out in manc, bham, solihull (where my mum is from) and i can tell you, they dont, you are just being told stories. Its like Elipsis said, made up by the scaremongers. Think about it, does it make business sense to you?

I'd be inclined to disagree with what you've been told. Although I'm not proud of the fact, I have socialised with a fair few dealers and asked them about this. It's unheard of in 'teh criminal underworld we must fight'
