We'd probably just go and sell up to Usmanov and buy our way into the CL like Chelsea did if that happened tbf

Nah you'd rather Arsenal do a Luton, get 30 point deductions for insolvency and crash out of the Football League altogether

The 02-03 collapse was the most spectacular tbh. Especially since we went unbeaten just a year later.

It's the collapse and not the invincibles that everyone remembers

It's pretty clear the grass isn't greener on the other side.

Not when you're 7th in the league and the biggest thing on next season's agenda, alongside improving your current pitiful position in the league, is the FA Cup.

How exactly? He's won the PL with United. Plus he's earning more money tbh.

van Persie left you, got paid a ****load more then he was paid at your lot, won the league in his first season there and immortalised himself as a PL legend.

Can't see how he made a wrong decision?

In any case, United are more likely to win the league next year than you guys are (see bookmakers), and he gets to work under LvG who is his best mate.

United with Van Gaal and £100m of new signings will definitely be more likely to win the league than perennial bottlers Arsenal
