does anyone know what they mean when they say 'realistic approach to a career in medicine?' on the interview grading sheet?
Understanding that it's not an easy job, which you can show through your work experience or any reading that you've done. They may ask you questions directly related to this or if not, decide if you're mature enough to understand what medicine is through your other answers.

Future candidate hopefully, hopefully will be applying at the end of this year.

Has anyone ever had an unconditional for a Russel Group University (oxbridge, imperial, ucl, kcl) ?????

Lots of people have post A level but as for as a school leaver, I've never heard of anyone getting an unconditional for medicine full stop (at least not in our generation). Doesn't mean it can't happen though! there's a first for everything!

Even for post A-Level, they're technically not unconditional. They're conditional subject to a DBS check, blood tests and things like that.

For Medicine, it doesn't matter if it's a Russel Group or not - it's pretty much unheard of now for people to get an unconditional offer if they're doing A-Levels.

I feel like I was nervous so waffled a lot but the panel was lovely and it was nothing unexpected, just praying they don't reject me😂😂😂

My offer was practically an unconditional; I just had to submit my Certificate of Good Conduct and my immunisation forms.

I think it's because I took Advanced Placement, not A-levels.
