I would be happy if i'd only lost 10 marks but then i'm not aiming for A*s .

    I reckon i got around 59/60.

And i'm glad people found M2 hard. Hopefully grade boundaries would be really lowered.

Did you do C1 this summer?
    What was your C3 score?

Yeah, a person who is quite smart said even he thought it was hard ish so :yy:

:nah: did C1 and M1 in January (wish I had M1 in June, such an easy paper) and C2-4 and S1 in the Summer

I'm CCEA - maths, further maths, physics and economics.
I do the same subjects on CCEA, except for geography instead of economics Didn't like geography this year though

Exactly! I'm thinking of asking them to release me, just in case but...I like having a low backup offer xD
If it comes to it i'll either go through clearing or take a gap year! Just a measly 6 days to see where my fate lies......

If I were to study economics at uni, what subject should i drop when i start A2, Applied ICT or Chemistry? I am going to definitely stick with Maths and Economics, but still deciding between one of those two subjects :s

I am not doing AQA but I am doing psychology OCR and will be continuing it next year. Our topics are really interesting.

Forensic psychology, so the justice system and things

Health psychology, so I am guessing anything mental related as we cover phobias and schizophrenia
Forensic psychology does sound pretty interesting, wish I was doing that

We covered a bit on mental health in AS, so I only know a bit on that, but I'm doing schizophrenia in unit 4, so that should be pretty cool.

OCR do things differently from AQA right? For units 3 and 4, we choose 3 topics out of a total of different ones, then just study them

I know right! Typical Lady Gaga, making us all wait forever

Lol, but yep, you are correct!

    New single: Applause
Comes out on August 19th 2013 (19.08.201) and can be downloaded on iTunes. The album ARTPOP will be available to be pre-ordered on that date too, with a music video for Applause being released on Aug 19th also.

So Aug 19 will be a very busy day lool
Hahaha I hope the album as well as the single is worth the wait then

I did C3 in jan and had a crappy 76 and then i resitted this summer but i'm not so sure whether i improved or not because i haven't got access to the paper. I'm basically in ignorance.

I do wish i'd resitted C2 because it seemed like a lovely paper compared to jan IMO.

It won't matter which you drop as most unis will only require maths or economics, mainly maths if they do want you to have a required subject in your offer. I would just pick the one you will do best in and enjoy the most because either subject won't matter.

Yeah, I find psychology really interesting so I cannot let it go, I am dropping chemistry as I now despise it.

I did Economics AS and quite a few people want to do Economics at uni in my class, a girl who is interested in an Economics course at Oxford will be doing Economics, Maths, Geography so i don't think the third A2 option matters that much. Chemistry will be seen as a more academic subject so maybe chemistry? I think the best thing to do is see how your results lie and do the one you did better in/the one you enjoy more. Most universities will only want Economics and Maths so pick the one you want to do as it shouldn't hinder your choices at all. Hope I helped

I'm Year 13 and took A2 on that spec - feel free to ask questions.

I did Schizophrenia, Media, Relationships, Eating Behaviour and Aggression.

Which topics did you do? and how big do you think the step from AS to A2 was?

See my edit above for topics.

The step to A2 can be big depending on where your skills lie. Most of the marks for A2 are for long essay-based questions (PSYA3 is almost exclusively 24-mark questions) - if you're good at the longer questions, then it might benefit you, but if you struggle with essays then it can be a big step up. For me, it was the subject that changed most from AS to A2.

Aaah, C3 this summer was relatively fine, apart from that ******* of a functions question

C2 was easy as I dropped 2 marks for not finding the shortest distance... And I think that's it. Unless I went wrong on a simultaneous equation :emo:
