I agree, the Mercedes race pace isn't that bad at all. There in pace in the car, and from the front Mercedes should be strong. I can't help thinking that running that extra downforce, therefore extra drag might make them vulnerable to a Sauber or McLaren behind if they're within the the DRS zone.. Of course, if a car does get past and the roles are reversed the Mercedes should fly past..
    True.

It'll depend on the temperatures to be honest. Nobody really knows how to work these tyres.

Would love to see Schumacher get a race win, I don't think Rosberg has the cojones to drive it to victory from the front. Has anyone seen any weather forecasts? If there's rain then Jenson may come in to the mix, but Schumi is also brilliant in the wet.

just over an hour now :woo:

I can actually see Kobayashi winning tbh, if Mercedes race pace is poor and Sauber are even close, with their tyre control...

I'm in the Bahrain so all the build up and commentary on TV is in Arabic...despite being pretty knowledgeable about F1 I have to admit I am slightly missing Brundle's analysis (never thought I'd say that).

On the plus side, I'm going to qualifying and the race next weekend so swings and roundabouts.

Didn't see it but it sounds epic! He did say hi to DC though.

I stuck with Sky too as Brundle is just far superior imo.

Since I'm at home, figured I could finally watch a race this year in HD on proper TV, since we don't have Sky I'm missing Brundle's grid walk.
To be fair though, this is far superior to the dodgy streaming links of the last two races..

Did anyone see one of the pit mechanics for Mercedes htiting the ground after Schumi's pitstop? Could be linked to why Michael had to retire?

I thought that was because they cocked the tyre change up on the front right. Feel so bad for him, he can't catch a break can he?
