1st edition 1984 book by George Orwell. It cost me $400 and it had to be bought 6 months ago while my uncle was in New York.

It's going to be her christmas and birthday present (Her birthday is New Years eve).

She knows she's getting two presents in one and she will get some flowers and a meal on her actual birthday. She'll get to open it on christmas day in front of her family.

Not sure how much she'll like it but from the yelp/scream that occured between her mother and sister when I told them I'm assuming it will go well

    - A Kenneth Cole watch (which I wish I was a man so I could wear :P)

and I'm hopefully popping to Sainsbury's tomorrow to buy him a videogame, too

I feel so cheap, I got mine the charity naked calender that my uni did (I'm in it), and a flying monkey from firebox that screams when it hits things, and made some fairy cakes decorated to look like the cookie monster. He got me a big lush gift box (and spent about £15 more than me), though he says the extra money makes up for the petrol money that he owes me

I feel really stingy now! But I really don't have much money so I couldn't have got her everything I would have liked to get her So I went for a beanbag microwavable Bagpuss, because Mum gets really cold and I knew it would be handy for keeping her warm at night when the heating goes off and also because I got her a tiny toy Bagpuss when I was little so it was a blast from the past

There's already a thread for this.

Anyway, I got him some silver gaffa tape. He's always bashing up his car so I'm labelling the tape as 'plasters for your car'.

I never go to the cemetery, either.

He was an atheist so I doubt he would have really appreciated Christmas anything anyway. Well, I am an atheist who sort of celebrates Christmas but I do it half-heartedly and more out of cultural pressure than any real desire to.
