    Say there was an army general called Jack, and he had been ordered to rape and murder a prisoner. If he obeyed, he would be doing something disgusting but would have the opportunity to make the prisoner's suffering as minimal as possible. If he refused, the prisoner would probably suffer the same fate but in a much more violent manner.

    What should Jack do and why?

    Posted from TSR Mobile
    Wouldn't "Jack" suffer too if he went ahead with the order? "Jack" should think outside of the boundaries and try to find a way to give the prisoner mercy. I don't think anyone deserves such torture as punishment, regardless of the crime.

    :0 I'm annoyed now, I was actually pretty worried after that!
    What was "hey it's not funny woman" all about?

    No that would be cannibalistic... But then you thought I was calling you a burger. This convo has gone round in a circle! :laugh:

    Yes... please :colone::colone:

    What if they killed your family before your eyes out of spite in the most inhumane way possible after raping them.

    See this is what I thought! Jack would probably suffer from psychological or mental trauma if he went forward with it!

    Yeah but Jack is being forced to choose.

    He will feel guilty for leaving the prisoner in the bad hands of someone else... However, he will also be affected if he rapes this prisoner. Provided that he has a conscience.

    So... yes

    Er... No

    Let us take Nazi Germany for example.

    Many people followed the Nazism ideologies but many did not understand them properly or followed them so that they were not persecuted.

    Also, many had a conscience. This is an important aspect. This can be related with situation as Jack probably has a conscience. Him being in that army won't change that.

    "Encourages" does not mean that he will want to participate.

    This argent is pointless clearly we don't have enough background information so we are just making assumptions to support our argument
