The question that got me was... You know how I think it was Joe had that disability and so he played wheelchair rugby... It said something like "The news paper article" and what influence it was...? I wrote 'resources' but I think it was wrong. What was the right answer?
I wrote media because newspapers are usually classed as mass MEDIA. Resources is Availablity, Location, Time and Access. So newspapers wouldn't come under any of those..

    Correction: catagory is image

I chose peptide hormones as they include HGH which is for increased muscle mass.

I wish I chose 'Media' but we were taught that Media wasn't an influence (Ikr, what the actual ****?). We were taught that the influences were:
    Culture
    Health
    Image
    Resources
    People
    Socio-economic.

Oh well. I hope you get a good grade!

What did you write about Joe's improvement in self-esteem?
I wrote that he and other people notice improvements in performance so he is more confident and self-esteem improves. I also write that if he is overweight he will lose weight and feel that he looks better and that he won't feel uncomfortable that he's in a wheelchair so his confidence increases thus improving self-esteem.

Yeah sorry, media is part of image. I meant I classed newspapers as media so it's in the image catagory. I'm sure you've done fine

Oh damn... I wrote ' image' originally but changed my answer... FML...
How'd you find that last 6 marker? The one about the weight training porgramme? I reckon that was a really harsh question.

that is ridiculous, it genuinely makes me very annoyed how they word the questions
Ikr, one that got me was in some past paper 'How does diet affect a healthy, active lifestyle? (3)' and common responses might be something along the lines of 'Eating balanced mix of nutrients provides the body with the right proportion of each type of food for growth,' maybe talking about carbs and proteins.
The 3 marks were for 'Eating food high in HDL (1) reduces artery blockages (2) lowering the risk of heart disease(3)' or the converse. The question itself is so vague given how specific the answer is, it doesn't even attempt at conveying to the student what it concerns!
Don't worry though, all students trip up on them annoyingly vague 3 markers, so boundaries will be lower and the A* easier to attain.

Peptide hormones was right as HGH increases muscular strength. The answer to the initiatives question were agencies such as Sport England or PESSCL etc. Does anyone want to clarify anything else?

Tbh I found both the 6 markers hard, the wording was confusing as to what they actually wanted :/ hopefully I get a good grade though. For the weight lifting programme one I said about making the training specific to their sport and the progressive overload. Wbu?

I wrote 3 paragraphs about how applying a weight training programme will benefit them and ikmprove their performance. I then spoke about their skeletal and muscle systems and how they will be enhanced and will benefit them or something like that
