Hiragana and katakana were the first things I learnt. After that it was vocab, kanji and grammar.

Btw, I watched a lot of Naruto for vocab and exposure
Wait.....I thought the Japanese in anime was different to the everyday Japanese that people speak.

it depends. Some phrases are very 'anime like', but most of it is normal Japanese haha

    How old are you?

What are some things you miss from the UK?

What's your homestay like? Are your host parents nice, strict, make you meals etc.?

Are a lot of your classmates interested in anime?

    Met any Japanese girls?

I like plain chocolate, but recently I've become addicted to the salad flavour  I've had to ban myself from buying any more xD

    I'm 18.

I miss central heating. Can't think of anything else right now

My homestay are nice! I'm currently with my 4th family (moved here 2 days ago). None of them have been strict. They make me meals and let me get on with my own stuff. School is quite busy, so I usually only get home at about 7 everyday.

They are yes! I think people are more into the actual manga though, since it's easier for highschool students to find time to read than it is to sit down and watch a whole episode of something. They bring boxes into school with manga books which they leave at the back of the classroom, and everyone reads eachothers and shares them around.

I go to an all boys school haha :P

How does it feel to have a thread brought back from the dead?

What are you studying in Oxford?

Do you see your long term future in the UK, Japan or anywhere else in the world?
