How was it? Did anyone get a = 28, d = -2 and (2x - 5)(2x - 5) = 0 for the last question?
Yes last one x=5/2
2. Was the translation for the (1/5)x a reflection in the y-axis?

Was the translation for the (1/5)x a reflection in the y-axis?
I put that too

yes I got that 😊
Also omg what even was the trigonometry question
5. (Original post by MotorboatMyGoat)

Were your coordinate for the maximum (6,9) or (9,6), forgot the order.

How did you find the perimeter of the triangle?

Where is 1/5 from?
EDIT: just realised 1/5 is 0.2 lols
Also I put it was a stretch in y by scale factor 1/25 😂😂
7. yyeeeess!!!

Yeah I missed up. Hopefully got a few marks from the 6 marks.
9. if area of sector and area of shaded region were equal then area of sector was half the area of the triangle
use area of sector to find r
9-r for one side
8-r for the other
length of arc
length of side bc
sprry if you dont understand im not good at explaining

(9,6)

U worked out area of triangle so plug in the angle to get r as 5 something. Perimeter was (r x angle) + (9-r) + (8-r) + 5
11. What did you get for question 1 , the value of a
12. How did you work out the point m?

Did anyone else get -8 or am I miles off??
14. (Original post by tsr1807)
Did anyone else get -8 or am I miles off??
I got a= -2 and subbed it back into the integral and got 16 so I think I'm correct

Did anyone else get -8 or am I miles off??
I kept getting -a +a ??? Which eliminated the a! 😡
16. Plus th arc length
17. What did you guys get for the Binomial Expansion last part? I got a negative 4 digit number, can't remember the no. though.
18. for the triangle/sector one:

the sector = area of shaded shape

we were given area of triangle

so the area of the sector is 0.5*r^2*feta = A/2, which you can solve for r

the rest is pretty much self explanatory
19. 2.) a) sketch the graph y = (0.2)^x [2] (graph with negative gradient and exponential shape, and asymptote of x-axis along with y-intercept marked as '1' or (0,1)
b) something about using logs to solve for x
c) transformation of y = (0.2)^x to y = (5)^x
d) another transformation.

-1600 and something (remember exact number)
