Yes last one x=5/2(Original post by rifat12345)
How was it? Did anyone get a = 28, d = -2 and (2x - 5)(2x - 5) = 0 for the last question?

if area of sector and area of shaded region were equal then area of sector was half the area of the triangle
use area of sector to find r
9-r for one side
8-r for the other
length of arc
length of side bc
add tgem all together
sprry if you dont understand im not good at explaining

Were your coordinate for the maximum (6,9) or (9,6), forgot the order.
How did you find the perimeter of the triangle?
U worked out area of triangle so plug in the angle to get r as 5 something. Perimeter was (r x angle) + (9-r) + (8-r) + 5 -

for the triangle/sector one:
the sector = area of shaded shape
we were given area of triangle
so the area of the sector is 0.5*r^2*feta = A/2, which you can solve for r
the rest is pretty much self explanatory -

2.) a) sketch the graph y = (0.2)^x [2] (graph with negative gradient and exponential shape, and asymptote of x-axis along with y-intercept marked as '1' or (0,1)
b) something about using logs to solve for x
c) transformation of y = (0.2)^x to y = (5)^x
d) another transformation. -
