tbh I'm not buying the exams argument. I mean yea activity is gunna drop a little, but you still have many of your members who are on here all day every day in the chat thread posting ****. As I said before, I'm not expecting a budget yet or anything but maybe a couple of SoI's, a few bills and some idea of what your program is for the term ahead.

    We have had substantial output...

So which items did you write? Are you telling me that Barnetlad just likes stealing all the "we write pointless motions" credit?

For the last 47 days the majority of us have had exams coming up or have been doing exams. If this had come in a months time and the situation was the same, I'd be able to understand it.

From a common sense point of view, this is silly.

From a political point of view, this is a stupid move.

Mind you, well done for keeping it under wraps.
Except in a month's time it would still be the same - whether you believe you would've done a single thing afterwards is a pointless claim now because you will increase it to make it look like you haven't, but even after exams people would not charge onto TSR to write Bills, and it's not like the government was excited in writing a budget.

Despite your excuse for exams, other parties have been able to produce several Bills each since then and the Socialists alone are writing up 4 new Bills atm.

You weren't forced to form a government - if you aren't up to it and other parties are more willing, step aside.

I'm saying as a party we have had output, I have helped with the party bills, while working on a larger project of my own in an attempt to fix the housing situation.

Even if this vonc is deserved (which I still maintain it isn't), this is the single worst piece of strategic manoeuvring I've seen since BoJo came out for Vote Leave.

Well of course you're not going to think it's deserved - you're the leader of one of the coalition parties.

And not really. I think the one against the Speaker before Birch the week after he was elected was the worst. As was Zac Goldsmith's hate-campaign against Sadiq Khan.

I dunno. The timing at least wasn't so bad. And surely that was before BoJo anyway?

Timing was better, justification was worse.

It was 4 minutes after he was elected, or something stupid like that. It didn't pass. You can speak to nebelbon about that.

As for Goldsmith's campaign, he was never going to win unless the Tories tried something radical. Unfortunately they went for unbelievably awful rather than radical.

I do wonder where you get your figures from.

Let's talk about this vonc for what it is:
    - Petty
    - Ill-thought
    - Unjustified
    - Opportunistic
    - Petty, again.

As relatively new member of TSR, I'm concerned the seriousness, integrity and cohesiveness of politics here has been tainted by people being frankly petty. Can someone confirm for me that this system is a positive experience? Or is politics here just squabbling, as opposed to debate?

I really don't wish to reveal my political position at this time, I just want people from ukip to labour to cons to reveal how they find it, because by the sounds of 5 votes of no confidence in 4 terms, it doesn't sound very cohesive or constructive
It's mostly this, though I wouldn't say it's bad per se. Annoying at times, but I think it would be boring without the drama.

This Government needs to be more active, yes. But Voncing them during exam season is, for me, unjustified, given that we have some bills and statements out there

Off the top of my head admittedly, maybe I missed one or two when I wasn't an MP.

As for the rest of your post, lol.
