Yup. if the it would be like 1,2,3.5,3.5,5,6
Yeah.
2. (Original post by Amnotsure)
So can you give a model answer
The answer above but written in a more formal tense.
3. Ok before I go can I just verify for the last time two advantages of a questionnaire are
It's cheaper to do
A questionnaire is a faster way to collect lots of data
Am I right guys?👍
4. (Original post by stoyfan)
how did you find it and what did you get?

If you are doing A level Maths (or already are) you should be doing it anyway.
Honestly I think it's quite an easy GCSE, I got an A in the end.

Actually I'm in year 11( like you?) and finished my exams on the 17th xD. How about you, are you doing A level maths? And how do you find it?

No because it has to be an advantage in comparison to something. So for example face-to-face interviews in comparison to questionnaires. You'd use questionnaires in this instance as they are less time consuming(faster) and cheaper yes.

Doubt that would occur. You know what happens if two values are the same right?
When you have 2 values do you add together and divide by two ?! Is that right ?

Indeed. You say quicker and cheaper but compared to what?
You can just say quick way and cheap if you're not directly contrasting I guess.

What? I am just saying the advantages not in comparison just the advantages

No. So say you have 5 values.

1,3,5,5,8

The numbers '5' are competing for the 3rd and 4th value. So 3+4/2. So you don't add the 2 values but the position they are in.

Would I say cheaper to do or just cheap?
11. You know when you have outliers after you've found out 1.5 times IQR and all that ... How do you know which one is the outlier ?

Nope, im in year 10. This is my first important GCSE.

Yup. if the it would be like 1,2,3.5,3.5,5,6
If I remember correctly and they're the same rank( say the 5th rank)
They would both be 5.5 and then you skip to 7 for the next one, as 5.5 is an average between the 5th and 6th rank.

So the rank for 5 is 3.5

Probably if it's outside that range that you calculated

That value + UQ and the value -UQ is an outlier so anything below or above that.
17. (Original post by nisha.sri)

Yeah they'd both be 3.5.

It was mine too. I wish you the best of luck!
19. I don't get it any more can someone just tell me the advantages of a questionnaire not in comparison just the advantages
20. (Original post by Amnotsure)
What? I am just saying the advantages not in comparison just the advantages
Oh I suppose.
