No idea what to go on to study at uni. Not even sure I want to go to uni. Are there any courses that I couldn't get onto with my Highers:

    Maths - A
    English - B
    Physics - A
    Psychology - A
    Human Bio - A

    (?)

I mean uni is a big step right? I don't want to get into a degree and rack up lots of debt if I'm not really going to make the most of it as a career.

Anyone got any ideas on what I should do?

Yeah, I think you'd still get a conditional offer! AAABC meets the AAAB condition.
Cheers. Yeah I was only really worried because I only sat two sciences this year and in one of them (physics) I only achieved a C and the requirements needs two sciences.

Does it just say conditional? What uni is it for? Course?
    (Original post by Ecosse_14)
What's it saying? What's your situation?

Sorry if you've said before, it's impossible to keep up with everyone's situation
It's for Biological Sciences at Oxford, it still says Conditional.

Sounds like you need to have a long hard think about what you want to do with your future. What career area are you interested in and all that and then take it from there. University isn't for everyone but you've definitely got the grades to do almost anything you want.

Very subjective question so no right answer. I'd say they're pretty equal though.

Well you seem to be quite a sciencey person, so why not something like that? You could really study any of the sciences, especially if you take Chemistry in 6th year.
It's just as important to study something you enjoy. Just think about what subjects you've liked so far, have a look at prospectuses or just any random course you think looks cool, look at what you study, and see if you think you'd enjoy it.

Thanks for the advice Ecosse and Ecosse, appreciate it.

The thing is, I did the Highers in evening classes and already have a pretty good job. But I do want to get a degree in something. Perhaps I should look at the OU? Are their degrees of equal quality to going to uni full time?

Ahh, okay then! No 6th year then. Extra special congratulations, then! Even harder to achieve as well as you did.

OU degrees are definitely respected and accredited.

Oxford. It's probably just that they haven't processed their decisions yet and you don't have anything to worry about, but it'd be good to make sure.

Yes I would bet money on you getting an offer but an unconditional I think depends on how many other people apply, who knows .

Looks like you made the grades to me! If the rest of your application is up to scratch, there's no reason you can't get an offer. Your grades certainly wouldn't be limiting you. Congratulations on the grades!
