Who else here is having parent troubles? I've got typical Indian parents and grandparents that want all A*s... What is worse is knowing that it is pretty much impossible
Urgh ... I'll be disappointed with my results and on top of that I'll have to tell my parents I failed them

    Question:

What grade would this equate to?
    (Pessimistic Scenario)

    20% A*
    65% A
    15% B

    And this
    (Optimistic Scenario)

    50% A*
    50% A

Depends on how high or low the grades are.

The first one will probably be an A

The second could be either depending as stated above.

Don't worry, I've got a similar problem :/ My grandparents have paid for my education for my whole life and I really don't want to disappoint them but I have definitely not done as well as I hoped. It doesn't help that my brother got 8 A*'s at GCSEs either! Everyone expects me to have got all A*'s/A's and I haven't! We'll be fine

My parents are like this and think I will do amazing... But to be honest I've told them seriously I won't, and if they want to go on believing against that then I'll let them... I don't care, they're my results and I'll be happy with what I will be happy with; stuff them if they're disappointed with me!:rolleyes:
