Just got a rejection, interview 17th March... Best start planning a gap year then
Oh no I'm so sorry You were in my group, and I've been checking hoping you'd get an offer

Don't give up, if medicine is really what you want to do.

I was in a similar position, I'm a mature student with less than amazing science A levels. There are very few schools who take people like me. I went through the admissions criteria for every school and made a table, eliminating those whose criteria made it difficult, so I only applied to those who would consider me on the same level as everyone else. Get more experience as an HCA, and ask your doctor friend to help you write a new personal statement which uses the 'reflective' language they're looking for about those experiences.

Next year, when you get to interview it won't be so scary, you've done it before, and when you get into Keele we'll all be there to help you

Quick question: Seeing that a student whom had a interview on 22nd of March got an offer, does this indicate offers are only left for students interviewed on the 23rd of march? I had mine on the 22nd.

Don't think it's like that at all, seems completely randomly done to me tbh. I think they have a threshold atm and gradually lowering it sending out more offers or something similar to that anyway! Definitely wouldn't lose hope yet that's for sure

This may sound naive but is there any possibility even with the slimmest possible chance that I could get an interview considering I haven't heard anything back as of yet?
    Same here :/
For which course have you applied?

When did you have your interview? Find out why you been rejected through feedback, if your committed reapply next year with more work exp. Your chances will be stronger.

I read on the Facebook group that you do, but I can't find where to register and the office staff have gone home (I rang them before). They said try ringing after 9am tomorrow to speak to someone. I only live an hour away in the car so I'm going to make my way anyway, hopefully you can do the same if you're not too far away

Don't think it's 100% essential (don't hold me to that) , I did it over the phone though
