I have a feeling I'll be spending 3/4 of my time at uni smashed out of my head. And that's not even including socialising...

I remember you. Do you remember me?

Though admittedly, I haven't given much away
I'm trying to work out who you could be, but my mind's drawing blanks at the moment.

Am I right to presume that your new username is completely different to your old one?

Yeah, I've bee switching between History and English for a long time now. I eventually decided on English, but that's not certain anymore after AS.

If I were to discuss that I'd get warning points, lets just say it was a matter about GCSE pretentiousness (and not from him btw).

Nice to meet you too infintiesmall! (haha I know its simal but this just sounds better )

What modules will you be doing this year?

I'm doing C3,C4,D1(my school hates me) for Maths
    FP2, FP3 and M2 for Further Maths
and for AFM AS I'm doing S3, M3 and M4
Also STEP (depending on offers) and AEA for Warwick

Ok, so I'm looking through the list of posters from the year 11 thread Mark I. Assuming you posted quite a bit (since this was the year 10/11 thread) and haven't been active in a while, you must be one of:

    USB
    InvertedLayman
    Overt Specialist

Actually no, I give up. Noone seems to fit! I need more clues

I've had everything set on Cambridge, I never considered Oxford, let alone visited. So I only have a vague idea from TV/news/youtube of Oxford. I can't really explain it, I've heard stories of people getting smashed off their head in Oxford and I'm not really the party type, additionally I would have to sit the MAT, and I don't wanna sit the MAT. It's not as easy as jumping from Cambridge to Oxford, in fact I'd rather attend Warwick than Oxford , because I'd fit in more and enjoy my time there much more

I was under the same impression and if Corpus Admissions says it then it must be true. :P

Sorry to hear that brah. :console: Being brutally honest dude, there are gonna be people who have a UMS average higher than you who are going to get rejected, unless you can seriously impress at the interview. I'm really not sure about how much your circumstances e.g. your school's average AS performance they're going to account for. I mean, what's your maths ums like? If that's over 90% then you'll still get an interview and you've got a decent shot. My advice maybe to talk to someone like cpdavis, iirc (forgive me if you're reading this and this is wrong ) he got an offer despite his UMS being below 90% for [email protected]
