There's a small tutorial on YouTube explaining the hard questions that you've probably not done as well on

Sorry I can't find it anywhere, our teacher just marked it and gave us the marks back so we couldn't correct it. If you have the CGP book then you'll find most of the answers from that - these are the ones I got right:

1ai)
box 1 - box 2
box 2 - box 1
box 3 - box 4

1aii and 1b) already visible on paper

1c)
Source B (1)
Returns to background radiation quickly (1)
3 months means the decay will be at 4 per second (1)

1di)
Benefits outweigh the risks (1)
Therapy successful in most cases (1)
High chance of killing tumours (1)

2) CGP covers 6 marker

3a) Thermistor, LDR, Variable resistor
3b) Cannot tell, false, true, true, false

4a) 2400 x 0.005 = 12 (1) 12/1.5 = 8 (1)
4b) No idea

5) 11500 in Np (1) 180 in Ns (1)

6) Covered on this thread/CGP 6 marker

7ai) Increase shoe size = time taken increases (1) Bigger shoe size = more friction (1) (or something similar)

7aii) Other student's results fit between Ross's experiment shoe sizes 5 and 7 (1). Other student used a different ramp, may have more friction/different surface/different height to Ross (1) Not necessarily wrong, do more repeats as only one shoe size done (1) - I think

7bi) Friction (1), Weight (1)

7bii) No idea - starts moving downwards until a limit where the friction is equal to gravity?

7c) Time and length // height // weight and height // time, mass and length

7d) Increasing upwards (basically, time goes up as velocity does)

8) CGP covers this, basically GPE into KE etc

The area under the graph (split it into triangles and squares/rectangles).

ahh ive messed up physics so bad and i haven't even done it yet. Let me put it this way I've done very rough revision on p4,p5,and p6 but have missed out all the induction transformer and motor stuff, two pages of p4 and am still doing p6 so i think ill be getting a low c on this exam. My coursework's 60 out of 64, i think i got a high b in both bio and chem. I need an a to take bio for a level. Do you think it will balance out. What are some very basic points i could write about likely questions on what I've missed out in p5?

This doesn't really help but I got 60/64 on my Physics and it's 96/100 UMS - so you've got some security.

If your doing additional science it will balance up, but if your doing triple science It might not, I'm not entirely sure cos coursework is only 25% of overall physics gcse

ah i hope it saves me! as long as i do can go to the sixth i want thats all I wanted out of gcses and i left physics to last 4 hour revision aha from how much you help other you look very prepared? I'm saying this and i mean it i really do hope you get a good mark purely because of how your willing to try and help other when you could be revising (I'm feeling emotional because I'm going to fail physics) haha good luck x

I got 46/64 in coursework, can I get an A* overall if I get all A*'s in exams?

I believe so, but you'll need high A*s (95+ UMS in each exam I believe).

I feel a bit prepared! I really hope that you also get a good mark too, and since your coursework was good and I'm sure your other units are so I doubt that you need to worry about failing Physics - a grade C is about 20% so I think so you'll easily get above that I'm sure! Good luck too and don't be emotional, like I said, the boundaries will be low as they've always been and you've revised some of the topics which I'm sure will get you your grade (plus the safety net of coursework helping you out ).
