Multiculturalism brought us every genre except western classical.
Ironically, it also brought us the band; Screwdriver.

It's still not a reason for us to accept an extra 3,000 on top on of the already ridiculous number of 20,000
23000 refugees is about 0.035% of our population, a negligible amount.

*Skrewdriver if you're talking about the band I think you are (good music, shame about the politics).

Also it's quite clear the UK is pretty far from overpopulated at this stage.

Multiculturalism brought us ska, blues, rock and roll. Multiculturalism brought us the tikka masala. Multiculturalism is a good thing.

You're going back to absolutes again and you know it's fallacious to do so

No, I'm putting across my argument that multiculturalism hasn't brought most of the hate and violence in the world and it is instead human nature that has.

They don't deal in absolutes, apparently, even though moments after claiming only sith deal in absolutes Ewan McGregor deals in absolutes

I'm too power hungry to be a Jedi. Point is though that wed be taking 23000 more refugees than we should. Not bothered about numbers but if we want to import 23000 people then bring them from the US or Canada.

Even so ..... your not saying why we should accept an extra 3,000 " Migrants "

We aren't taking them as economic migrants, we're taking them as refugees because they're in need. Giving the finger is often easier than offering a helping hand, but it's the right thing to do.

If you're trying to indicate scepticism, you want the word 'refugees', not 'migrants' - nobody's disputing that they're migrants, the anti-crowd are saying they're not refugees.

We should accept them because we can make their lives better by doing so.

And how can you be 100% sure they are in fact " Refugees " ? They are a drain on resources and the welfare state

The ones that we're taking in are definitely refugees.
