Hopefully you'll hear something soon Yeah I know, it's horrible waiting around. It'll be such a relief when we've heard back from them all.

I have a placement 2 days a week at a special needs school where i work closely with their resident SLT and also do some independent work with the children helping them with language based activities. I already have AAB from last year but i'm doing an extra AS this year along with this placement - i didn't apply last year due to illness so have applied now for 2010 entry.

Reading all of your posts has made me really nervous about my application/how successful i'm actually going to be :/

I'm applying for the PGDip, although I'd like to complete the research project and finish with an MSc. It's a two year long course.
I've applied for this too! Along with the MSc at UCL. I really want to convert to the MSc as well at City - although speaking to a recent graduate from the course she said it can be hard to do if you don't stay in the research environment.

I've never been to a speech therapy interview! I've only ever had questionnaires or straight offers. One of my friends doing midwifery said they ask lots of questions about complications and illnesses, so things in our case like "How would you react to a client you are meeting for the first time who has a obvious physical abnormality due to a stroke?"

I haven't heard anything Marjon since the acknowledgement, and I haven't found a single person applying there for anything for 2010!
