I went to my primary school for work experience.
At first I only wanted to go there for nostalgia, but I actually learned quite a lot about teaching and young children's behaviour, so overall it was worthwhile.
Old thread, but I went to an Office. Wish I hadn't though, had I went to do something in retail I could've gotten a job by now. :>.<:
I done my work experience in a estate agents and i must say i had the most fun doing absolutly nothing for 2 weeks hehe
I've been to a vets and a newspaper, in Years 11 and 12 respectively.
I'm doing mine in July and I'm thinking of doing my week at the NSPCC.
I worked in Woolworths for a week. It sucked.

Is work experience that important for college/uni applications?
^ For most courses, no. And for those which it is, it must be relevant.
What company is that? because i really want to do my work experience a design company but i cant find a company that does work experience for yr 10s
