All international students are sent an application form for a bursary/scholarship, so all I had to do was fill it up. No criteria really, was kinda worried I wouldn't qualify for the bursary cuz of what my dad earns (although cuz only he works it doesn't translate to much for the whole family), but evidently it wasn't a problem. Your referree would have to write (yet another) referral for you, explaining why you deserve the help.

Not really comfortable with putting the value up here, haha if you really want to know, pm me :p:

It's a pity Oxford (or most other unis actually) don't have such bursaries. Only ones I've heard of to date is Bath and Cambridge.
Rep (and a virtual cookie) for anyone who can spill the beans on who Nutter is. :p:

HALF?! :vmad: Just HALF? I was looking forward to receiving an entire jar of them in real life.

Bah! :grr:
Well that's technically impossible, since I don't SEE you in real life :p: (I do make pretty good chocolate fudge cookies though.)

Congratulations!

You know what? Every single medicine applicant I know has received an offer.

Well I haven't asked 2-3 people yet, but we'll see.

So which is it gonna be:- Cambridge + A*STAR scholarship -or- NUS Med?

I have a friend who has to choose between Brown Uni + EDB scholarship -or- NUS Med -- he's chosen the former.

i don't quite know actually. i replied to medicine already. so i guess it's over for cambridge. but i could always write in to NUS to change my mind. they have LOADS of people waitlisted. yeah.

cambridge is quite a big loss i guess. plus i am stuck in singapore.
