    Normal range is 60-100; it's normal to have a lower heart rate if you're athletic (lower heart rate is usually an indicator that your heart is in 'better shape', because it can pump out more blood in one beat than others, so beats slower to meet the same demand - indicating a higher level of cardiovascular fitness. Hence "lower=healthier").

    This. Because then for the 2nd 30 seconds you can take the respiratory rate...whilst pretending to take the pulse

    100 I'm going to do it again. I could feel the rate increasing. I think I got nervous too easily ha.

    I got 78 when I did it for 30 seconds then multiplied by two. A higher rate can be the result of dehydration. I've just woken up, so I took a long drink, lay back and relaxed and did it again for longer.
