I just thought since it said (0,0,1) was vertically upwards, g would be acting in that direction?

3. I got vector (0,0,-4) but my final answer was 7.5 so not sure

Ah yeah... Silly mistake from me then, hopefully will get a couple of method marks since my final answer is just the negative of the actual answer.

And it was (0,0,1) vertically upwards so g is vertically downwards. In 3d g is in the z direction

7. There go some marks for me lol. didnt realise it was the z direction as its normally j direction. Oh well! tbh wondered why my answer was so odd

It isnt though :O. we had to add them all together so your final z component would be wrong and thus ur magnitude

i made a silly mistake as well :P
9. Did anyone else find the question where you had to find S and T got a bit messy? I don't think I got the accurate answer because of rounding errors!

lol that question was ok. i didnt round for working out parts of answers so my answers were pretty accurate :P

same if the functions don't come out nice jsut keep em in trig form and only round off at end

Ok it's really annoting me, people thinking that 7.65s (my answer) was too long. I'm sorry, but let's think about it.

It's already going at 8ms^-1. There's an acceleration against motion, at -gSin15. so, it's got to go at 0ms^-1, which would take about 3. odd seconds. Then, it's got to travel downwards, at 13m. From the first 3 seconds, it's going to go slightly further than 13m. So to you, who put 7.67, WELL DONE! :P

did you do pythagoras to find T and do tan to find the angle and - it from 90 degrees?
