Estonia has suspended civil law; martial law has been implemented to ensure the safety of Estonian citizens in this time of crisis. There is to be a nation-wide curfew effective immediately - no person may leave their homes between the hours of 6pm and 9am and all air, sea, road and rail travel has been banned. A 20-mile exclusion zone has been put in place around the cities of Tallinn, Tartu, Narva and Pärnu. The Estonian public is advised that any citizen who breaks these rules or attempts to breech the exclusion zone, will be dealt with severely.

The Estonian government and 50,000 citizens have been evacuated onto our Baltic islands, the Estonian military has been authorised to destroy any ship that attempts to reach these islands. A group of our scientific and cultural experts has arrived safely in Longyearbyen, Svalbard where they hope to work in finding a cure as well as preserving Estonian culture and identity.

Estonia has taken the decision to destroy the Øresund Bridge to prevent the spread of Nosoi from Denmark into Scandinavia. Estonia regrets that neither Denmark nor Sweden could take the appropriate action themselves and we hope that our actions will not be interpreted as an act of aggression.

OOC: We really need some more Scandinavian representatives.

Given the extreme circumstances and the lack of representation from Sweden and Denmark, we thank the Estonian representative for destroying the Oreseund Bridge. We are also glad to announce the Estonian citizens who arrived at Longyearbien have been checked and cleared of Nosoi and are now free to proceed out of quarantine.

Due to the progress of Nosoi, Norway is increasing the number of warships patrolling Norwegian waters with a zero-tolerance policy towards boats attempting to land in Norway.

With news of china becoming inflected, all major borders with china are now manned and any person found to be crossing will be shot on sight as goes for all other major crossings. The Russian government is planning to move to Arkhangelsk once Moscow becomes unsafe, and if there is unavailable then Novy Urengoy will become the next seat of government.

Reports of infection in the Chinese mainland are grossly over-exaggerated. We have, regrettably, has to sterilise the border regions of Tajikistan and Kyrgystan, however, since infected individuals attempted to evade our security.

We believe these reports are due to a very limited number of brave and noble border security personnel who became infected whilst defending the mainland. They have been eradicated.

The Kingdom of Spain: The Government, military and a some citizens as well as our beloved Monarch have moved to the Balearic islands for safety and has left mainland Spain due to the infection spreading over the Pyrenees mountains from France and Germany.

The Government has also granted the Bask region its independents and had made Catalanians their own sovereign state of the Bask.

Spain offers its assistance to any European government who wish to move to the Balearic islands with them, proving that they are not infected.

Estonia's government regrets to announce that a fleet of 50 ships including 5,000 soldiers has left Estonian waters with the intention of invading the Azores and setting up a quarantine zone around them. Estonia hopes that Portugal will not interpret this as an act of aggression.

The Botswana Government Would like the MUN to consider moving its headquarters to our capital city Gaborone. Kenya is still dangerously close to the infected areas, and there are Nosoi Symptoms in Australasia meaning New Zealand would be infected anytime soon. We already have the Headquarters for SADC so we have the facilities to host the MUN, and we are still far away from the infection, with a barricade around our nation.

The Kingdom of Spain: recognises the need for Estonian's to survive but invasion is not acceptable. Next time they should request permission and not sure military force to carry out their decision.

The Kingdom of Spain: applaud Botswana for doing this but realises that it might be hard to carry this change of HQ's/ Spain recommend that we make continental HQ's and make a new HQ HQ somewhere else. Spain is willing to host a Mediterranean or European HQ in Majorca.

NEWS FLASHRetreat of Governments, Nosoi claims new lands, borders stretched and talk of relocating the MUN find new light.

It has been reported from many governments including Estonia and Spain that their executives have been temporarily relocated to island residences, perhaps a pragmatic measure to retaining some hope for combatting Nosoi. In extension, calls particularly from the representative to Botswana, New Zealand and Germany to relocate the MUN in light of the penetration of Nosoi into Switzerland could prove wise. It was reported earlier today from the MUN residence in Geneva that Nosoi had overrun much of the city, representatives have dispersed with many falling victim. It is uncertain as to where the MUN will be relocated considering the suggestions of Nairobi and Wellington seem to be less safe than first thought.

It is believed that Nosoi has reached as far as Angola in southern Africa, reports indicate that many African states have lost their capacity to function altogether, many from South Africa have been sighted fleeing to New Zealand who have agreed to receive a temporary quote of refugees from the nation.

In Europe, Nosoi has reached as far as the Belorussian and Ukrainian borders with Russia, reports suggest that Russia is struggling to contain the spread. It seems at present that only Scandinavia excluding Denmark have remained free, though this depends largely on the capability of Russia in defending its borders. Similarly, Iran's pernicious response to Nosoi has been effective, but it has been claimed by an Iranian source that their perimeter continues to be assaulted by the infected with many casualties being sustained.

Estonia's confirmation that they will be claiming the Azores islands has apparently been met with hostility by the Portuguese authorities, it has been claimed that they are sending a retaliatory fleet to prevent the arrival of the Estonian ships.

In the Americas, the US has moved its fleets to both coasts, with a further day needed before it is safe to deploy ground forces. The US government has apparently claimed that once it can restore safety to its borders it will commit a task-force to the defence of Europe and its allies in Japan, as well as China and India.

In Asia, despite claims by the representative to China that reports have been grossly misled, it has been sighted that many Chinese citizens have attempted to leave China by boat for Taiwan and other Chinese territories, reminiscent of the Vietnamese 'boat people'. As no official reports have been produced, the situation in Asia and the Indian sub-continent is uncertain, we will standby for any indications of the situation.

South Africa confirms its relocation to various island nations. We have forcefully taken control of Madagascar which shall henceforth be known as a South African territory. Our forces were met with great resistance which was dealt with using regrettable power. South Africa is still free from confirmed reports from Nosoi but we understand it is only a matter of time and urge our population to prepare for the worst. We are operating all commercial and freight ships to transport the populations of South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland in an orderly fashion. The borders with Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana are now heavily fortified although our resources were not sufficient enough to defend Mozambique.

The Government of Botswana has regrettably decided to take control of the Namibian Zambezi region (Known as the Caprivi Strip), and the rest of the northern region, in order to effectively seal their borders with Angola and Zambia, in order to stop the spread of the Nosoi in the region. We would like to invite Nambian forces to assist us in this operation in order to protect our region. We also don't have the resources to relocate our leaders elsewhere as all our troops are being relocated to all northern borders, and we don't have a safer location to place them. Lastly we're asking all our citizens in the north of the country to relocate to the south of the country.

The People's Republic of China regrets to confirm that a number of illegal boats left Shanghai and Hong Kong recently in an attempt to escape the Nosoi, despite it not existing within China. As per the guidelines set down by the Government, these boats were sunk.

In order to effectively protect our borders, the border areas of the neighbouring countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan, India, Burma, Loas, Vietnam, Russia and Mongolia have been sterilised. Regrettably, it was necessary to eradicate all persons in these areas.

The United Kingdom is growing increasingly concerned with the state of affairs in the rest of Europe and the Commonwealth. We have been in contact with the Government of Australia to offer British citizenship to its citizens should its Government fall. Additionally, the emergency executive powers for the Queen which were previously agreed still remain in force.

There have been incidents of unrest with the UK, as people panic and attack those who they believe to have contracted Nosoi, however these incidents are spread far and few between. There have been no confirmed cases of the disease thus far.

When, not if, humankind recovers from this terrible virus, the Dominion of Canada will strive to hold all nations in violation of human rights including but not limited to Estonia, South Africa and particularly China to account.

The Republic of South Africa understands and respects the action taken by the People's Republic of China. The loss of life is regrettable but survival is key and we choose to give our peoples every possible resource to be part of the future of the Earth.

Russia supports china in it's need to maintain secure borders. We have a similar problem with our borders with Europe, currently any person trying to cross if, will be warned and then terminated. We cannot take any risks with this infection, it is the greatest challenge humanity has faced. We remind Canada that if no-one survives this disease there will be little point in us upholding so called human "rights".

New Zealand would like to report that it has blocked off all forms of transport to and from Australia and is preparing incineration projectiles in the event of an invasion from Nosoi. We are still in favour of the UN moving to New Zealand in the event of further contamination.
We are slowly beginning to adapt to life without trade, but it may take a while longer before we can announce that New Zealand has regained its strength.

India would like to report that there have been several incidents along the India-Pakistan border between Indian troops and members of the Nosoi. However, there are no reports as of yet of a border breach. However, we are growing increasingly concerned with the state of its neighbours. We do not yet know what the true state of affairs are within their borders, but we fear the worst.

We would like to announce that we are pleased with the progress of the Sino-India-US coalition, however, there is still a lot of work to be done and little time to do it in. Valuable research must be recovered as soon as possible.

Furthermore, we propose that certain areas of the infected nations be incinerated in order to slow the spread of Nosoi.
