I'd rather forget A levels  on to the next stage of my life.. but my fav A level was Econ, probably only interesting A level there is.

As a journalist, after having been in Investment Banking for atleast 10 years

Retirement is too far away to think about it.. but probably when I'm bored of working
LOL, sorry for the A-level question, I just wanted to know if you took A-level mathematics , what degree of maths would you say will be required for corporate finance, M&A and S&T? Read plenty of articles online and all say pretty much not very, GCSE at A or A* will be good enough ?

A level maths would obviously be useful but tbf the stuff isn't to complex on IBD. You'd better off be being compotent with excel. However at degree level we do learn some more complex mathematical modelling but generally for theoritical understanding purposes such as manual linear programming, more advanced calculus and the financial mathematical side of things such as bond valuations in which we have to construct models to attribute the charactersitics of certain financial products.

Yeah but GCSE A maths works well.. but then again, you have to pass those numerical tests that banks put up, which tbf with a little bit of practice shouldn't be too extensive.

I might get one, if I'm unable to find a wife. I wouldn't mind it at all, given my parents find a compatible partner for me.
