Not really, wasn't thinking about Liverpool per say more complimenting the performance of Wimbledon in relating to Cambridge who, having played less efficient going forward, were able to defend compact against United.
The difference was that Liverpool actually scored and took the lead which forced Wimbledon to come out and attack, they equalised but Liverpool gained the lead again so they had no choice but to go all out, they had nothing to lose really. United were toothless going forward and couldn't score a goal so Cambridge were more than happy to sit back and seal the trip to OT.

Always supported Arsenal as the nearest side and not really clocked the local team... guess I will pay them more attention now! :P Feeling unjustifiably proud considering I barely spared Cam Utd a glance before this evening!

And that's exactly it. And again, there just isn't a counter argument. He said after three months we'd see the best, and we just don't. Every away game is dog ****. Villa, Spurs, Stoke, Cambridge...should be four wins, averaging 3 goals a game. That's what Chelsea would do. Defence isn't the problem, it's up front. He's got the players, but he can't get them playing together. How the hell can you give someone 150M, win 3 away games by 23rd January and say he's doing a good job. He's worse than Moyes. He is. Had Moyes of got that money to spend we'd be third and closer to City. I miss Moyes, he was a nice guy.

None of our six signings have been a success. Players like Fabregas, Costa are a success. How people come on here and say people like Herrera and Rojo are a success is a joke. Why do we have lower standards than Chelsea? Unless you are as good as Terry as a defender, you're not a success. Unless you're as good as Fabregas as a midfielder, you're not a success. Unless you score as many goals as Costa, you're not a success as a striker. Our signings should be expected to be as good as Chelsea's. It's different for other clubs, but when you are MU you expect to be number one.

He's worse than Rodgers. Get him out Luke.
precisely; he asked that people gave him time.
he's had exactly that but you're barely any better than last season....you just have a bigger wage bill.

moyes was a nice guy - i don't think a "big" club suited him because he was great at being economical with limited funds; maybe having a big budget and high pressure made him panic a little.
he wasn't a good replacement for SAF but people are attributing player failings to moyes way too much.
here you have another manager who is world renowned yet he can't get decent performances either.
either the players have turned terrible, both managers aren't suited for this club, or both.

you have the money, you have the pull, you have no excuse.

although rodgers has many (many, many) problems, at least he is occasionally open to trying new things.
swapping to 3-4-3 was a bold move but it seems to work for us.
dropping gerrard and giving him limited game time further forward was a bold move but it seems to work for us.
although rodgers is TERRIBLE in a transfer sense and TERRIBLE in a defensive sense, at least he realises when something isn't working unlike LVG who is insanely stubborn and thinks he can put players in to foreign positions and expect it to work instantly.

P.S: even though we are rivals in support, i'm glad i can discuss our respective clubs with somebody with at least some passion and sense, speaking the truth rather than blindly defending our teams.

Mourinho showed more class in defeat than van Gaal did with a draw.
