What?? I am not saying its horrible thing. I am saying that its wrong to believe every african is like that. I am african from dijbouti and people always say to me ' how omg you dont look african!!' Or 'why are you so light skinned?' Or even worse '' are you sure your african?''. I am just letting the guy know africans are very diverse people. they come in all shapes and colours and are very dark skinned but some are not. That was the point of my whole post. I am sick of not even being considered african by some people becuase i dont fit that stereotype.
Yeah but the way you were saying it implied that the stereotypical african appearance is not a good thing. Having said that, I agree with your other points about the misrepresentation of Africa

Do you know why France bombed Ivory Coast and captured President Gbagbo and put him in jail?

He was arrested from his home by Ouattara forces(with aid from France). He was accused of and charged with crimes against humanity during the conflict after the elections.

    In 2004?
The French attack on Abidjan airport was in retaliation for Ivorian forces bombing a French military base near Bouake

The move wasn't supposed to be permanent, and the Israel/Hezbollah conflict in Lebanon 2006 meant we had to return sooner than we thought,+things had calmed down here

Yeah that 2006 war was pretty vicious, surprised Hezoballah could take out Israeli tanks so easily (Iran suspected). What do you study and what do you want to be when you grow up? 2hours til the game😄.
