Sorry to hear about all of your problems. I hope things get better for you.

I think overall my life is good. I just tend to overthink so I create problems that aren't there. That is also why it varies a lot day to day, feeling very different from one day to the next. Mostly, my "problems" have more good sides than bad ones. Like having done my final exams and waiting for the results and therefore having WAY too much time on my hands. (That's why I'm on TSR! ) Not having anything to do is driving me crazy but I'm happy I don't have to worry about studying for a while so I'm not complaining.

How do you stay so positive? Is it because you simply feel there are no problems in your life right now or are you able to stay positive through tough times?

I wanted to rebel and be positive on a thread about problems.

I have bad days when I'm not feeling great but right now things are going well, so it's easy to be positive. My preliminary scores are good (I'm a good student but they're better than I expected) and it seems like I'm going to get to the university I want so I'm very excited! I usually try to see the situation from different perspectives, I am an overthinker, after all. I consciously try to be positive about situations and people but I don't always succeed, unfortunately. I often find the positive in bad things but also the negative in good things. I am quite happy that you think I'm positive. I'm now just worried that I annoy other people who have legitimate problems...

The only reason you will annoy people with problems is because they are jealous of your happiness. Trust me. When I'm stressed out it gets even worse when I see positive people because I envy their happiness. (as bad as that sounds) I wish I had the courage to walk up and ask them how they do it haha.

Overcome the very major ones.

Current one just studying, doing the same thing as last which is procrastinating in the exam season and wasting my holidays on games like counter strike -_-. 7 A level exams and I'm ****ing done, but I just as irrational as it is, can't tank these last 2 months.

1. ****ed up sleeping pattern
2. Lots of friends not enough friendship groups i spread myself too thinly
3. preoccupied with social life even though it's decent and social status
4. i think looks are the most important thing in the world and i'm not amazingly blessed in the looks department
5. I'm smart but i procrastinate so much and can't be bothered with life
6. The counsellor keeps telling me i'm normal and i don't want to be
7. My relationship isn't enough like a relationship
8. My life overall is fine and many would be happy to be me because i'm in a great position but i'm extremely unappreciative and look for faults in any way i can in order to be miserable and claim i had a hard life. I dwell on the one traumatic experience in my childhood
9. I'm too hard on myself, that traumatic experience was pretty darn life changing and traumatic
10. I make no sense.
Tell me about it. I got the same thing, but I don't see it as a problem. Just the way some people are. Some go to sleep early, others go to sleep late lol.

We all have the same problems, it's just how we deal with it.

In truth we all have loads, me included, I just don't see the rest as something to worry about as it's not that important in the grand scheme of things.

With these exams, we just got to keep going until it's over. Soon.

My flatmate is screwing his girlfriend next door real loud and I really, really, REALLY miss my boyfriend right now. So that's a problem. I'll call him at in a few hours to wake him up cause I'm WAY too horny. Good thing his hall is not far from mine. :giggle:

I'm dreading waking up at 5:30AM, knowing it'll be 22:00 by the time I'm back in bed.
