So you don't believe in your dissemination of knowledge argument?
No, it means that you are not completely right wing, teachers however tend to be quite left wing.

And thus the dissemination of knowledge is inherently due to socialistic tendencies?

    Which still favour capitalism...

So, socialism has been established and then it remains for minor elements of a predominately capitalist world. It even had an opportunity to establish itself globally and look what happened. It's getting another chance, and look what's happening, it's not going too well.
I've already accepted that full-blown socialism cannot work on a small scale.

Dissemination of knowledge for free tends to be for humanistic reasons. You probably don't know this, but I make a good deal of my money playing and teaching poker. The industry is so cut-throat regarding dissemination of strategic information that many of the top players are able to charge several thousand an hour for teaching. It's the same with non-basic trading stuff, and of course, there's a good deal of legal protection for trade secrets and intellectual property (which ironically it's tough to see being protected in a pure capitalist system). Given nearly all knowledge could be sold by someone who knew more than the bare minimum, we reach the aforementioned conclusion.

It's a good idea in theory, not in practice. Nay

PS: Mr Speaker, is it just me that hasn't been getting the updates?

You may have missed the VMXX Speaker Motion vote, but other discussions are still ongoing. All my updates are available to view in the Speaker's Chamber thread.
